MAKE THE NUMBERS YOURS 💸

A useful plan starts with clear assumptions.

GoalAway organizes a travel budget and shared savings progress. It does not sell travel, store money, or verify savings balances.

Starting costs are estimates

The initial amounts are illustrative planning figures, not live prices, guaranteed offers, or verified market averages. Flights use distance allowances for supported U.S. cities and broad regions elsewhere. Driving estimates use an approximate distance allowance, 28 mpg, $3.50 per gallon, $30 in tolls/parking per car, and up to four people per car. They exclude rental cars, overnight stops, and route feasibility. Train/bus amounts do not verify route availability. Enter actual round-trip costs per person for accurate planning. Accommodation varies by destination and travel style. A simple seasonal adjustment applies to starting flight and stay prices in selected months. Actual routes, taxes, dates, currencies, and availability may differ substantially.

Replace estimates with real quotes

All amounts are in US dollars. “Check or change prices” lets you replace round-trip transport, room rates, daily meals and experiences, local transport, and the buffer. Changing destination resets starting prices. Changing departure city or travel method resets the round-trip transport estimate, and changing travel style resets stays, meals, and experiences. Manually entered quotes stay in place when dates change, so recheck them.

Equal shares, individual progress

Costs split equally between the planned number of travelers, including unfilled spots. Rooms round up at two people per room. Each member enters their own savings total. Excess savings do not automatically cover another traveler’s share. Group progress caps each person’s contribution at their own target. Members’ reported savings are not verified bank balances.

Before making a booking

Confirm actual prices, terms, entry requirements, insurance, and any other relevant details directly with the travel provider or responsible authority. Saving a plan or joining a GoalAway group does not create a booking or payment.
